Dear friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today is a big day for SmartBots and for me personally. Our team is releasing an update we’ve been working on for the last few months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a complete overhaul of SmartBots’ look and feel. I hope you like it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Why the overhaul?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SmartBots was launched back in 2010. It was cool and stylish in those days. And it was quite simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the years passed, we added numerous features and expansions: add-ons, Playground, scripts for sale, schedules\u2026 Each new feature brought its own piece of UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At long last, we ended up with a complex web platform! Different web engines (actually, five), lots of legacy code. And a legacy web design all over it (well, actually, we had a full redesign in 2014\u2026 but that sounds like in the Bronze Age, we redesigned our Stone Age website<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do love SmartBots. And I believe a lot of you love SmartBots too. In 2026, I decided that all of us deserve a faster, nicer, and more modern look and feel for the service. After all, SmartBots is very cool<\/em> and modern<\/em> on the inside! We love bleeding-edge technologies, clusters, reactivity, CI\/CD, and other cool things! So it was time to make SmartBots look<\/em> modern, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Totally new!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We rewrote all our code: from modern languages all the way back to programming dialects from 2000th that almost nobody<\/em> speaks today. We created cool new layouts and made every part of SmartBots use them. SmartBots is mobile-friendly, handy, and fast now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope the new look doesn’t make you feel This isn’t my SmartBots anymore!<\/em> One of our beloved users asked for it, and we added a classic theme for those who love the classic things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did we break something?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We tested everything. But SmartBots is big (much bigger than our team!) and we might have missed something. Please – if something isn’t handy, or you miss the way you used to do things – feel free to IM me<\/a> or SmartBots support<\/a>! We are eager to do more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are more amazing things we have yet to release: a complete overhaul of RLV (with lots of features for developers and users), Playground improvements, and new features!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
