HOME position issue

Hello,

I did a program to tp my bot in some locations, to restart sims, and then want it to come back home.

I am on the sim, anywhere.
1) I tp the bot near me -> the base location is changed in the web interface !!!
2) I set the Base location in the web interface to 128/128/24
3) I send the bot with LSL HTTP request to 128/128/100
4) Then I send the bot with LSL HTTP request to HOME
The bot is at 169/198/23 !!!
The base location on the web interface is set to 128/128/100 !!!!

So it seems the base location is changed by each command to teleport.

But does not explain why, when requesting HOME, it does not go to it !!!!

Any help or explanation are welcome.

I’m late to this thread but I was about to report this issue myself when I found this post– I can confirm this is still an ongoing issue and point of frustration for me as well. Attempted to chat with support but no one answered.

It will also occur at random where you realize your bot has been missing for a few hours because it doesn’t remember the home location.

The variables cached in the MySmartBot panel is so flaky that I built my own bot management system/UI into my administration app. From there I can return the bots to home position no matter what.

I would love to get onboard with the dev team and help fix some of the problems occurring with the bot service/modules and improve the overall UX.
