CasperLet Configuration

Currently, you can configure SmartBots for Bulk Group Invites, Per-Unit Group Invites and Notification IMs.

Bulk Group Invites with Group Services

To begin configuring all of your CasperLet rental units for automatic group invitations, you first need to go to the Group Bots page. This is the page where you are going to be entering all of your group details.

1. Visit the group bots page on your CasperLet account.
2. Click the "Add Bot" Button.
3. A new window will pop up (make sure it was not blocked by your browsers pop up blocker).
4. If you have group services with us instead of a Personal Bot, you'll want to select Smartbots Group Inviter.
5. Enter your custom label. This identifies the bot service for your records in the CasperLet system.
6. Enter the name of the group exactly as it appears in world and in your SmartBots account.
7. Next, enter the group security code into the third field.
8. Then, enter the Avatar UUID of the SmartBots account owner (more than likely, you). This can be found by opening your profile and copying the "Key" field.
9. Finally, enter the name of the role you wish your bot to invite your tenants to in your group.

Checking the box "Default" will make this the default bot for ALL of your CasperLet rental boxes.

1. Next, we'll test the bot to make sure CasperLet successfully communicates with the bot. Enter the avatar name to test invites and ejecting with your group.

If it worked, you'll get a message stating success and an invite in world. That's it, you're done setting up your SmartBots Group Services with CasperLet!

Per-Unit Group Invites

To begin configuring one of your in-world rental units for invitations with SmartBots, first visit your units page. This is where you will be entering your SmartBots group information.

1. Visit the units page on your CasperLet account.
2. Click the settings icon next to the unit you wish to add group invitations to.
3. Scroll down to the 'Group Invite Bots' section and click 'add new bot'
   
4. Select 'SmartBots' from the list.
5. Enter the name of your group in the first field.
6. Put the name (not title) of the role you wish to invite to into the second field.
7. Finally, enter your group security code into the last field.
8. Click add and save the configuration.

Notification IMs

Note: This requires a personal bot!

To begin configuring your CasperLet account for automatic notifications to the tenants and staff, you first need to go to the Group Bots page. This is the page where you are going to be entering all of your personal bot details.

1. Visit the group bots page on your CasperLet account.
2. Enter your bot's full name into the first field (Example Resident, Someone Linden).
3. Enter your bot access code into the second field.
