SETTING UP
How long does it take to setup my SmartBot?
- New orders are setup automatically within 15 minutes. However, this requires to invite the bot and give the necessary permissions.
If you have troubles configuring your group, our support manager will help you to do that.
Where do I put my SmartBot?
- We host SmartBot on our sims. Instead of bot, you put a 1-prim Interface device on your parcel. Interface device locates all your visitors and commands SmartBot to invite them.

SECOND LIFE GROUP
May I use my SL group which has paid enrollment?
- Yes. You just have to refund us the payment SmartBot pays to join your group.
My group has no open enrollment. Can I use SmartBots invitations?
- Yes. SmartBot sends direct invitations which allows residents to join your grop anyway.
Your Bot
Can I get the custom named bot?
- You can setup your own bot to manage your group, see About SmartBots Personal Bots for details.
INVITER - INTERFACE DEVICE
What is the range of Interface device?
- The range of Interface device is adjustable up to 96 meters.
I have two Interface devices on my land, will they invite the visitor twice?
- No. Devices will contact each other first and decide which one sends a single invitation.
Does SmartBots invite people who are already in the group?
- Bot does NOT invite the existing group members automatically. But it will give the invite if they click on the Interface device.
Will Interface invite visitor over and over to the same group?
- No. SmartBot remembers all residents who received an invitation to your group, and won't send repetitive invitations. However, you can setup your SmartBot to invite every resident twice or more times.
Do I have to rez the Interface Device with same group?
- No, you don't have to rez the Interface with the same group.
Can I rez 3 Interfaces for 3 different groups in one sim?
- Yes. They will act independently.
Does bot invites everyone who enters the parcel or the scan range?
- Bot sends invitations to anyone who enters the parcel. No spam to the nearby parcels.
YOUR SMARTBOT
Am I able to test an invitation to the group?
- Yes. Owner of the Interface device can use the menu which allows to request a test invitation.
