Installing and configuring SSTI to function properly is a simple process that will only take a few minutes. There are only few requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
To install SSTI you first need to have an account with smartbots, click here to create one, you also need to have the group you wish to invite tenants to listed (see this page for how to add a group) with the invite to group ability.
You need to set a group Security code.
There are also some special abilities that you will have to give the bot, Click here for more details.
It is best to have the Hippo Boxes configured before beginning
Once you have successfully met all these requirements you may begin installing and configuring the device.
INSTALLING
To install SSTI you first need to obtain it from the second Life marketplace.
- Rezz the device
- Edit the configuration notecard (see this page for detailed instructions)
- Drop the plugin script into all your Hippo rent boxes
Done! You now have access to the features provided by SSTI.

Note: If you have more than 1 sim you will need to have a SSTI server on each one. A simple trick is to just copy over the config notecard.
