Bots Playground: new user settings and categories

We’ve released a set of updates aimed at making the SmartBots Playground more reliable and easier to tailor to individual scripts.

What’s new:

• New versioning

New versioning

Bots Playground version now includes release year (2025 now). Then year’s release number (currently 91), then revision. This allows easily distinguish whenever Bots Playground has been updated!

Today’s version: 2025.1.220

New Features

• Boolean User Setting Type
  A checkbox to enable & disable your script’s features.

• Select Box User Setting Type
  A select box pre-populated with options or your script users.

Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements

• instant_message event now includes object_uuid
  When you listen for instant_message events emitted by objects, you’ll now receive the object_uuid field. This makes it much easier to correlate messages with the exact object that generated them. Read docs
• General reliability upgrades
  We’ve addressed a variety of errors and made updates to keep the Playground running smoothly.

Store Updates

• New Script Categories
  We’ve introduced four fresh categories in the Bot Store. Our staff will sort your scripts into the most fitting categories:
  • Roleplay
  • Integrations
  • Group Tools
  • Land Management
• Revised Image Guidelines
