SSTI version 2.0 – the great update!

SSTI v2: Reminders, tenant change and more!The new version of SmartShare Tenant Inviter (SSTI) has been released – v2.00!

This version is a major update of the whole system (server + plugins + website), everyone is recommended to update. The improvements include:

  1. Box expiration reminders.
    Your bot will send IMs to tenants who are expiring or already expired!
  2. Various stability and performance improvements.
    New Hippo plugin works better, faster and more reliable.
  3. Box tenant change is now supported.
    You can easily replace (edit) the Hippo box tenant now using a native Hippo box menu.
  4. Website interface refined.
    We’ve made the web interface more informative (especially the history and search pages).
  5. Automatic box scripts update.
    Updating 500+ Hippo boxes to a new SSTI version is usually a problem… not with v2.00+!

PandoraBots AI autoresponder is back!

Pandorabots AI is back workingThe PandoraBots AI autoresponder is back working with SmartBots!

Pandorabots service has gone offline in February and was inaccessible for several weeks. After the service was reinstated it turned out that all AIML (AI language files) have been lost, including SmartBots configs.

Guys from Pandorabots were working to restore these configs, and finally they got restored SmartBots brains as well. Now AI autoresponder is working back again!

Using AI autoresponder with a rule-based Simple Autoresponder

SmartBots has its own simple autoresponder module which works based on simple rules (read the documentation). You can use any autoresponder you wish: Pandora, Simple or even both.

Note: if you are using a Simple Autoresponder now, please talk to the bot to ensure that you don’t get replies both from AI and Simple engines.

AdminBot and HTTP API can check residents’ groups now

AdminBot and HTTP API now can check residents' groupsSmartBots HTTP API and AdminBot LSL library have been expanded by two useful commands today.

HTTP API commands set have been extended by adding a new avatar_groups command. This command returns all visible groups of SL resident (both group UUIDs and names). The command is powered with filter parameters to fit to LSL http reply (2048 bytes).

AdminBot LSL library has got a new command and a new event. The new command SB_AVATAR_GROUP receives two parameters: the group name (or UUID) and avatar UUID. The library checks if avatar is a member of the group and returns a reply to your LSL script using a new SB_GROUP_CHECKED event.

Support Bot module released: help your customers 24/7!

SupportBots module has been published!We are releasing a support solution for Second Life business owners, based on Alive SmartBots: Alive Support Bot.

Support Bot stands (or sits) in your office and automatically accepts Instant Messages from your customers and visitors. These messages are being forwarded to your human support managers (and probably to yourself). Each manager can grab the message and contact customer (so two managers never contact the same customer).

Bot’s owner is able to see all incoming messages, assigned managers, monitor their activity and response time.
