SmartBots IPO is coming! Buy BOTS at SLCAPEX

We are starting the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of stock for SmartBots at SLCAPEX marketplace.

The IPO starts Wednesday, Oct 26, 4:00 AM SLT.

Why we are doing this IPO

SmartBots services are up and running for almost two years (since January 2009). This is successful and developing SL company: the monthly revenue is L$360,000 with thousands of customers. We release the new tools and devices to manage Second Life groups and Second Life bots.

New personal bot HUD

We’ve developed and released the new HUD to control your SmartBots personal Second Life bot.

It completely replaces the previous HUD and able to perform the same functions. What’s new:

  • completely new look and feel
  •  easy interface with tabs
  • draggable – drag it on the screen with your mouse
  • foldable: you can fold the HUD if you just need to monitor the bot’s status

More features coming soon:

  • ability to talk via bot, and HUD notifications about new IM
  • support for SBSL (SB bot programming language).

To get new HUD, login to your SmartBots account and click “Your personal bot” => “Bot control tools”.

Another way to get HUD is to teleport to SmartBots in-world office, touch the “Devices container” and choose “Bot HUD”.

New group listing wizard

We’ve published the group listing wizard available for all customers.

The wizard makes the new group listing much easier and understandable (especially for new users):

  1. Invite SL bot to the group and see if it is really able to join
  2. See which group abilities are missing

SmartBots Live Support is still at your service whenever you need a help, but wizard makes solving the most of the problems easier, even without assistance.

No more limits: 42 groups for all personal bots

We have removed the groups limit for personal bots: now each bot can hold the maximum number of Second Life groups (42 at the moment).

This update affects all existing bots: the weekly price of all bots is L$479 per week now.

(Thanks to everyone who voted for the wishlist item asking to remove the groups limit – this helps us to determine the  most important updates to do)
